The Avon Town Council voted on Oct. 23 to approve an annual agreement with Withers Ravenel for life-cycle modeling and data updates covering Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2026.

Ryan (town staff) told the council the software is an annual contract that the town budgets and uses to keep data current for planning and analysis. “This does include them updating the data with new data as we do it,” Ryan said, adding staff finds the tool useful for decision-making and recommended approval.

Ryan said the town previously paid for the service through the end of next year and that the current contract covers the next calendar year; he also said funding for the contract was included in the budget.

Council members had no additional questions and the council approved the renewal by roll call vote.
