Cedar Rapids launches free Safe Zone after-school sports at three elementary schools

Program sessions combine supervised sport activities with social-skill development. The fall term will offer flag football (Sept. 29–Oct. 20, 4–5 p.m.), basketball (Jan. 12–Feb. 9, 4–5 p.m.) and soccer (Apr. 6–Apr. 20, 4–5 p.m.), according to the podcast.
