Council approves easement from RRCT LLC for East Waterloo storm sewer project

Canal Winchester City Council voted Monday to accept a storm sewer easement needed for the East Waterloo Street storm sewer project.
Resolution 25-050 authorizes the mayor and/or the city administrator to accept an easement from RRCT LLC for property at 60 East Waterloo Street. City Administrator Matt Peebles told council the easement is the final outstanding parcel needed for the project and recommended moving the resolution to full council.
At the full meeting, Council Member Moore sponsored the resolution and moved adoption; Council Member McLaughlin seconded. The resolution passed on a roll-call vote with the council voting yes.
Peebles said the easement is a storm sewer easement for the East Waterloo Street storm sewer project and that authorizing acceptance is the final step staff needs to complete before construction-related procurement and implementation move forward.
