Six Robertson County schools recognized as Level 5 TBAS schools

The Robertson County School Board on Oct. 6 recognized six schools that achieved Level 5 status in the TBAS (Teacher/School) recognition program.
Director of Schools Dr. Weeks announced the Level 5 schools and their principals and assistant principals: Cheatham Park (Principal: Jen Hayes; Assistant Principal: Nicole Brown); Innovation Academy (Dr. Graham Bell); Watauga Elementary (Kelly Armstrong); Greenbrier Middle School (Principal: Chesley Trilstad; assistant principals Cassidy Wright and Joseph Bradley); Greenbrier High School (Dr. Katie Osborne); and Springfield High School (Dr. Chris Tucker; assistant principal Ariel Dyer). Weeks said the district had ‘‘over 70 Level 5 TBAS teachers that were recognized at a reception this evening’’ and that each Level 5 teacher receives a classroom banner to commemorate the achievement.
Weeks said having six Level 5 schools ‘‘might be a record for us in Robertson County’’ and praised the schools for their work. He asked Ms. Dickerson to present banners and indicated principals and assistant principals would have photos taken.
Board members offered congratulations in the meeting’s closing remarks. No formal board action was required for the recognition.
