The board also approved the consent calendar of routine items and tabled a proposal to divide property occupied by Rotella Interdistrict Magnet School into two parcels to allow a smaller parcel to be used for a fire station.
Board members voted to approve the consolidated federal grant application for 2025–27. Commissioner Orssell moved the grant motion; discussion was brief and the motion carried without recorded opposition.
