The board voted to approve the consent agenda and then moved through individual action items that required separate votes. Trustees authorized payment up to $150,000 to cover participation costs for Trinity High School percussion and the Sanford/ Central junior high full orchestra to perform at the Midwest International Band and Orchestra Conference in Chicago, and separately authorized up to $210,000 for travel costs should LD Bell and Trinity marching bands advance to the state UIL marching contest.
