Wright County HHS pilots case‑status tracker with Clarity Solutions; board adopts related HHS resolutions

Health and Human Services officials on Oct. 7 told the Wright County Board they are piloting a case‑status tracker and data‑transfer scripts designed to reduce manual entry across MNbenefits and Maxis, and that the pilot is part of a collaborative effort led by Olmsted County.
Jamie Goodrum and other HHS staff described the effort as a bridge between the county's existing systems. Staff said Olmsted County obtained a SNAP grant to support development of a script by a vendor called Clarity Solutions that will allow data to move between the state MNbenefits system and Maxis, reducing duplicate manual entries and anticipated error rates. Wright County staff said the county contributed $6,000 toward the Clarity Solutions work and is one of an initial set of six pilot counties that will benefit and share the tool with other counties.
Jamie Goodrum said the county hopes the case‑status tracker and the scripts will reduce phone calls and manual system updates by enabling some address, income and status updates to transfer between systems. Kim, a staff member involved in the work, said the county has already seen increased client access and a "huge improvement" in usage metrics after promotion of the case‑status tracker.
At the same HHS segment the board voted on two HHS items. The board unanimously adopted a resolution proclaiming Oct. 15 as County Financial Worker and Case Aid Day in Wright County, a move Commissioner Holland sponsored and the board approved. The board also adopted HHS resolution HHS‑25‑11 accepting September 2025 donations totaling $5,195: $5,000 from the Wright County Area United Way for a child safety seat program and $195 from HHS staff donation closet contributions.
Staff changes
HHS staff introduced Tina, the new collaborative health supervisor, who started with Wright County in June 2024 and previously worked as a public‑health and school nurse in the community. Staff said Tina is a long‑time Wright County resident and will supervise collaborative health work in the department.

County HHS officials said the technical effort is in early stages but is already showing benefits in client access and will be expanded across pilot counties if the scripts perform as intended. The board approved the two HHS resolutions unanimously.
