Parole revoked after applicant admits to new alcohol-related violations

The Committee on Parole voted to revoke Michael McCoy’s supervision on Oct. 16, 2025, after McCoy admitted guilt to multiple supervision violations while on interstate supervision in Georgia, including failing to follow instructions regarding alcohol use and a driving-under-the-influence offense on March 21, 2025.
At the hearing McCoy acknowledged the admissions and told the board he had been attending an HVAC program and was working toward graduation before the violations. Commissioners reviewed the probation-warrant paperwork and the interstate-compact violations; Jerry LeDoux found McCoy guilty on the record and voted to revoke parole. Danny Barra and Chair Carolyn Stapleton concurred, and the board formally recorded a revocation.
The panel cited continued criminal behavior while under supervision and McCoy’s admissions as the factual basis for revocation. The board noted treatment or mental-health medication issues raised by McCoy, and institutional staff will document revocation and next steps for custody and supervision placement.
