City planning staff lists three approved replats in Hillside/Mountain development area, including a middle school site

Esmail Segovia, chief planner for subdivisions, briefed the board on subdivisions approved in the Hillside/Mountain development area between June and September 2025.
Segovia said the three approved cases were: a replat in the Want to Seal/Montecito area (Unit 11, Replat F) to vacate a portion of a drainage easement and dedicate right-of-way for future frontage road improvements (approved June 30, 2025 by the Planning Commission); Montecio (Montecito) Unit 11 Replat H to dedicate 36.5 feet of Suncrest Boulevard right-of-way between Via Rambla Drive and future Interstate 10 frontage improvements (approved June 18, 2025 by the City Plan Commission); and a replat for a future middle school site (Alirete Middle School site) that subdivides 20.19 acres into two lots (2.55 acres and 17.64 acres) — approved Sept. 25, 2025 by the City Plan Commission.
Members asked for clarifications about access for the school site; Segovia said proposed access is conceptually shown as coming from Cimarron (not Ressler). Segovia said all three cases are considered within the Hillside/Mountain development area and are subject to state subdivision regulations where applicable.
Ending: Segovia concluded that these were the recent cases in the Hillside/Mountain area and that the planning division would return with details for any future items affecting open-space considerations in that jurisdiction.
