At the Oct. 9 meeting the Mooresville Town Planning Commission continued agenda item 25‑157, a secondary plat for property on Bridge Street in Hopkins, to the November meeting after the project's engineering representative said he could not attend.
Planning staff reported they received an email from Holloway Engineering earlier in the day requesting the continuance because the engineer was unable to appear and the commission had asked for reports the engineer was to bring.
A member of the public identified a traffic concern; staff said a traffic study exists and that the study will be available for review at the continued hearing. The commission voted 5‑0 to continue the item so the public could participate and the commission could consider the requested reports.
Action and next steps
The commission moved and seconded a continuance to the November meeting; the motion passed unanimously, 5‑0. The record shows staff to place the item on the Nov. 13 agenda and to ensure the engineer’s reports and the traffic study are available for public review.
