The mayor congratulated McCloskey for earning the Eagle Scout rank and thanked him for the project. McCloskey and others on the dais received the proclamation and applause.
Council previously discussed a borough contribution and a motion to provide $1,500 toward the project was made and seconded during the meeting; the council voice vote recorded "Aye" and the manager later confirmed a $1,500 check. The donation was presented during council business, and council members publicly thanked McCloskey.
