Daniel Boone elementary construction ahead of schedule, board hears

Matt McDermott, of Hohner Architects, gave the Warren County R-III Board of Education an on-site construction update for the new Daniel Boone Elementary, saying the project is progressing and remains ahead of schedule.
McDermott described completed and in-progress work at the site, including grading and seeding plans for a detention pond, poured concrete in the front drive lane and parking, steel erection and metal deck installation on classroom wings, and plumbing and subgrade work in restroom and cafeteria areas. "They're moving very well in that classroom wing," McDermott said of construction in the south wing.
