Student representative reports nine perfect ACT scores, band competition wins and Crestwood tour

Student representative RJ told the Lindbergh Schools Board on Oct. 14 that nine seniors earned perfect ACT scores and that the Lindbergh High School marching band scored a top finish at the River City Showcase.
RJ named the nine seniors honored for perfect ACT scores: Isaac Charney, Vihan Chaudhary, Holly Davis, Dylan Ellsworth, William Lin, Andrew Minaj, Sammy Orth, Rachel Shrage and Blake Sellers. RJ credited both student effort and district-provided supports such as after-school study courses and tutoring connections for the success.
He reported that the high school's competition show, "Why So Serious," earned first place at the River City Showcase and won captions in music performance and general effect. RJ also described Lindbergh's "Sunday Night Lights" community event, which drew a record number of participants and volunteers.
RJ said he visited Crestwood Elementary with district staff and the student advisory board. The tour included a group circle, a look at a community garden whose harvest is served in school lunches, and a walkthrough of the new gym and specials classrooms. RJ said the school's tour-based approach is helping students share their learning styles and leadership ideas.
RJ also announced that the board selected Stella Pelerito as the 2026 student representative; RJ described the selection process as competitive with 12 applicants.
