- Rehire of two non-secure juvenile unit positions: The board approved a motion to rehire two open, full-time positions in the juvenile non-secure unit with backfill as applicable. Presenters said filling full-time positions would reduce overtime costs.
- Resolution 2025-27 — Operation Green Light for Veterans: The board approved resolution 2025-27 to designate November 2025 as Operation Green Light for Veterans; the county courthouse will be illuminated in green and the county encouraged citizens and businesses to display green lights Nov. 4'11.
- Out-of-state travel: The board approved Kimberly's out-of-state travel to the NAPHS identity and security conference in Washington, D.C.; the county will be reimbursed by the state and the county will front the expenses for later reimbursement.
- Postage/handling fee for online vital records orders: The board approved adding a $1 postage/handling convenience fee for online vital-records orders effective Jan. 1, 2026; staff said it will revisit the fee amount as postage and supply costs change.
- SNBC program consolidation: The board approved transferring the SNBC program from Social Services to Public Health effective Jan. 1, 2026 (see separate article for detail).
- IT and technology items: The board approved a five-year penetration-testing engagement with CliftonLarsonAllen (subject to county attorney review), an allocation to cover increased camera licensing and maintenance costs, and the purchase of a Pure Storage appliance for criminal-justice storage (SHI quote, $95,055).
- FM/West Fargo Chamber funding: The board amended its preliminary 2026 allocation to fund the chamber at $100,000 (up from $85,000 previously presented).
- Letter on federal shutdown: The board authorized a draft letter to Minnesota's congressional delegation urging restoration of federal funding amid SNAP/MFIP issuance concerns (see separate article for detail).
