The actions, taken at a regularly scheduled meeting, all passed by voice vote with the four members present voting in favor and one member excused.
The board approved the final minutes from the regular meeting of Oct. 8, 2025, after Member Clemens moved to approve item number 4 as read. Member Clemens made the motion; the board approved the motion by voice vote.
Under item number 5 the board certified eligible lists for multiple classifications, as read on the agenda, including (verbatim from the agenda): bridal protection services officer, open; Officer 1, open; Animal protection services supervisor, open; Control center supervisor, open; Deputy city marshal, lateral, open; Engineering technician, f, open; Land survey crew leader, open; Plant operator, 1 x, open; Purchasing technician, open; Senior technical systems analyst, open. Member Stamper moved to approve item number 5 as read; the motion passed by voice vote.
Item number 6 directed possible action to abolish an eligible list described on the agenda as "projected pro project engineer." Member Hesch moved to approve item number 6 as read; the motion passed by voice vote.
On item number 7 the board approved a request to place Landon Williams on the rehire list for deputy city marshal after Member Clemens moved to approve the item as read. The motion was approved by voice vote.
During the citizens' participation portion no members of the public came forward. Board members took a moment to recognize Member Clemens for 27 years of service to the Civil Service Board and for his time as chair.
The meeting was brief; the clerk confirmed compliance with the Open Meeting Law, and the board adjourned after completing the listed actions.
