Marlborough Borough Council approved routine minutes and unanimously voted to retain a public works employee as a permanent full‑time employee, the council said.
The council voted to approve the minutes from its September meeting by voice vote. Later in the meeting, members voted to remove Logan J. Lentz from probationary status effective Sept. 17, 2025, and retain him as a permanent full‑time employee in the public works department at a salary of $28 per hour. The motion to retain Lentz was made and seconded and carried on a voice vote, recorded as “Aye.”
Both items were handled as part of the consent and personnel portions of the agenda. No roll‑call tallies identifying individual council votes were provided in the meeting record; outcomes were recorded as voice votes and entered as approved.
The actions take effect as announced at the meeting.
