The City of Sugar Land Planning and Zoning Commission on Sept. 25 voted 6-0 to approve Rye Hill Parkway Street Dedication Section 2 Replat No. 1, a replat that adds about a 1-acre strip of land originally recorded in a Rosenberg plat and establishes two reserves restricted to drainage, landscaping and open space.
Planning staff member Jessica Echols, senior planner, told commissioners the replat covers 13.43 acres and “includes 0 lots, 2 reserves, and 2 blocks” and that the one-acre strip had been “mistakenly included with the Rosenberg plot.” Echols said the Rosenberg plat was…
