The motion to permit the procession was made by Deputy Mayor Sartori and seconded by Trustee Soloski.
On municipal facilities and maintenance, trustees authorized a one‑year extension to the village's 2023 HVAC service contract with 5 Star Mechanical Inc., with "all terms, conditions and pricing contained in the contract remain[ing] in effect for the extension period," the board recorded. The extension was authorized on a motion by Trustee Casado and seconded by Trustee Clark.
Separately, the board approved three HVAC equipment purchases from 5 Star Mechanical Inc.: a rooftop unit replacement at the community center for $14,550 and replacement of nine package terminal air conditioner (PTAC) units at Village Hall for $18,525. Both equipment purchases were approved after motions and seconding recorded on the record; trustees also approved the replacement of an unspecified number of PTACs at another municipal facility as recorded in the meeting minutes. The motions carried with no recorded opposition.
