PROS Advisory Board adopts bylaws, confirms removal/attendance provisions

The Wellington PROS Advisory Board voted to adopt its new bylaws during the October meeting. The board approved language that permits removal of advisory-board members who are absent from more than four regular meetings in a 12-month period, with exceptions allowed by voting members for acceptable underlying circumstances.
Board members said the bylaws had been reviewed in prior meetings and that the updated language addressed attendance, term lengths and other operational items. One member asked about the wording of Article 3, section 5, and staff confirmed the most recent version incorporated the suggested edits before the vote.
The motion to adopt the bylaws passed on a voice vote and the board moved on to budget and other agenda items.
