The board also accepted an AEMC grant of $10,000 and authorized an additional $5,000 from the DDA beautification budget to pursue a proposed gateway sign project; if the gateway sign proves infeasible, the board directed staff to use the AEMC funds for fallback beautification projects identified by staff.
