At its Oct. 21 meeting the Rosemount City Council took the following formal votes.
Consent agenda (items 6A through 6M) — Approved, 4-0. Items included bill listings; minutes of the Oct. 7 regular and work session; donations (Cub Foods $150 and Costco $50) for the fire department open house; authorization of a reciprocal fire service mutual aid agreement for Region 1; authorization for 2026 Street Improvement Project items; an amendment and leased space agreement with the Criminal Justice Network (CJN) for use of space in the new public works and police campus; transfer and renewal of a small-scale mineral extraction permit for Vestera Stonex; Amber Fields plat 16 correction; treatment maintenance agreement at Caramore Crossing; and the termination of an accounts payable specialist position, among other routine items.
Resolution certifying delinquent municipal services to 2026 property taxes (agenda item 7A) — Approved, 4-0. City staff reported 696 delinquent accounts totaling $321,338 and a public hearing was held with no speakers before the council adopted the resolution.
Bon Air Path Trail contract award (agenda item 9A) — Approved, 4-0. Council awarded the contract to McNamara Contracting in the low bid amount of $640,221; the engineer's estimate was $683,510 and seven bids were received.
