The CUSD 200 Board of Education approved three consent packages Wednesday: the general consent agenda, a facilities approval consent agenda and a policy approval consent agenda.
The general consent agenda covered routine items: acceptance of gifts (Sandburg Elementary School PTA), approval of bills payable and payroll, and approval of meeting minutes and personnel reports. The motion to approve the consent agenda was moved by Mr. Rutledge and seconded by Ms. Culovitz; the board conducted a roll call and the items were approved.
The facilities approval consent agenda included approval of a resolution and final contract for a guaranteed energy‑savings project with Performance Services Inc. for summer 2026 work and approval to change the June 2026 regular board meeting location to Hubbell Middle School due to work at the school service center. The facilities package was moved by Mr. Long, seconded by Mr. Rutledge and approved by roll call.
The policy approval consent agenda included five revised policies numbered 1.20, 2.80, 2.130, 7.140 and 7.300. The policies had been posted at the prior meeting with no comments; they were moved by Ms. Cullovitz, seconded by Ms. Blattner and approved by roll call.
Board members voiced questions and brief committee reports during the meeting, but there was no recorded opposition to the consent votes.
