Highland introduces new library director Karen Liu

Liu said she visited story time earlier in the day and welcomed patrons entering the library. Councilmembers welcomed Liu and recalled the strong community role of the Highland library and the work of the prior director, Donna Carden. Several councilmembers praised the library’s community programming and expressed confidence in Liu’s leadership; Liu said she hoped to continue the library’s tradition as a welcoming space for residents.
