Federal Way emergency manager outlines CERT training for residents

The program’s aim, Pelley said, is to increase household and community readiness and resilience so residents can “survive and recover after an emergency or disaster.” He added that residents who complete the training may volunteer with CERT to assist the city after a major disaster.
