A council member noted the city could not act in place of code enforcement or legal counsel and advised Costano Garza to follow up with the appropriate staff and legal channels.
The resident said the council or staff had copies of the attorney letter; staff acknowledged receipt of correspondence and that the matter would need to be handled through the appropriate administrative or legal processes rather than by a council resolution at the meeting.
No action was taken by council during the meeting on the resident’s request.
