The mayor listed additional spring and early-summer events: the Massachusetts agricultural expo at Mount Wachusett Community College; the Gardner Farmers Market kickoff at Waterford Street School on May 17; the Light the Town Purple Relay for Life kickoff on May 5 at 6:30 p.m. at Gardner City Hall; the Levi Haywood Memorial Library book sale April 25–26; a meet-and-greet and book signing with Reverend Timothy Krellan on May 14; the citywide yard sale on May 31 (organized by private citizens; permit requirement waived by the city); and the Gardner Food Truck Festival on June 12.
The mayor also ran through many school- and college-related ceremonies, giving dates for Mount Wachusett Community College and Gardner High School graduations, pinning ceremonies and other commencement events.
