JFAC corrects wording to make Boise State and University of Idaho reductions one-time

Kevin Campbell, budget and policy analyst with the Legislative Services Office, told the committee the language on the screen “makes the reductions adopted for Boise State and University of Idaho yesterday … 1 time rather than ongoing.”
Madam Chair said the change was an oversight and that the item “was intended to be 1 time.” The committee accepted the correction by unanimous consent after Representative Price requested it and no member objected.
The change does not appear to alter the dollar amounts discussed previously; it clarifies the duration of the reductions in the bill language as passed by the committee. No roll call vote was recorded for the correction because unanimous consent was used.
The committee moved on to the next agenda items after the correction was accepted.
