The bill also allocates $24.8 million of fees and other self‑generated revenue to the Legislative Auditor’s ancillary enterprise fund for office expenses.
Amendment set 25‑13 increased the Budgetary Control Council budget by $1,000,142 to cover legislative capital security needs; the committee adopted the amendment without objection. Senator Cloud moved adoption and Senator Presley moved to report the bill as amended; the committee reported HB 664 favorably and authorized staff to make technical corrections.
Committee members thanked staff for their work and noted further debate will continue as bills move to the Senate floor.
