Panel introduces DMV bill to align trip permit rules, let agencies choose plate designator and size

Gujo said the change would allow agencies such as ISP and Fish and Game to select an appropriate plate designator and avoid a small-plate requirement for trailers. Committee members asked for examples of exempt agencies and Gujo cited Idaho State Police and Fish and Game as examples.
There was no extended debate, and Representative Petzke moved to introduce RS31813. The motion was approved by voice vote and the committee ordered the proposal printed for further consideration.
