BOISE, Idaho — The Senate Education Committee on Thursday voted to send the governor’s reappointment of Paul Amador to the Idaho Public Charter School Commission to the full Senate with a recommendation that he be confirmed.
Senator Ward Engelking moved to send the reappointment to the floor with a favorable recommendation; a second was recorded and the motion carried by voice vote. The committee took no additional public testimony on the nomination at Thursday’s meeting.
The committee also approved routine meeting minutes from Feb. 20, 2025, by voice vote earlier in the session.
