For budget communications, Dr. Cohen proposed one‑page summaries of large cost centers, short “budget bites” communications and clearer materials to explain capital vs. operating budget distinctions. On capital work he described communication protocols with the owner’s project manager and the need for frequent community updates as projects progress.
After discussion, the committee moved and seconded a motion to approve the superintendent’s goals for 2025–26; the motion passed by voice vote with unanimous assent recorded.
