The Hot Springs Board of Directors has set a Nov. 4 public hearing to consider a petition by Silver Spur Properties LLC to vacate a portion of Pyrene Street, city clerk Carmen Morrissey said during an agenda review session.
Morrissey said Silver Spur Properties is represented by Rickett McCrone Engineering and that city staff and utility providers are reviewing the petition; staff expected responses to be received by the end of the week. The proposed resolution before the board during the Oct. 21 meeting would only set the date for the hearing; the hearing itself will occur at the board's Nov. 4 business meeting.
No substantive action on the vacation request occurred during the agenda review; the Nov. 4 hearing will be the opportunity for public comment and formal consideration.
