Representative Marmon offered an alternate motion to introduce RS 32,420 and recommend it be placed directly on the House second reading calendar; the committee approved the motion by voice vote. Representative Harris thanked Levitt for adjusting the draft to address concerns raised in earlier discussions.
Committee members noted the change was not substantive to the bill's overall intent but would address specific concerns raised in the earlier public hearing. The committee did not adopt any amendments during the introduction and the matter will proceed to the legislative calendar for further consideration.
