Planning director Krista Hampton honored as city marks National Community Planning Month

Several elected officials and city leaders paid tribute to Hampton’s years of service and noted she will retire soon; city manager Theresa Wilson described Hampton’s leadership as a legacy for the department. Hampton told council she began at the city in 1996 as a graduate student intern and described the work as demanding but rewarding. Council presented a proclamation and remarks thanking Hampton for her service.
