Planning and parish engineering staff reported that review comments had been addressed and engineering recommended approval. Commissioners moved to accept the final site plan and the motion passed on a roll-call vote.
The commission recorded affirmative votes from Mister Engler, Mister Clemons, Mister Guidry, Mister Wax, Mister Dana, Mister Burns, Miss Farris and Miss Long. No nays or abstentions were recorded in the meeting transcript.
The expansion will alter the station footprint to accommodate the additional apparatus bay and living quarters; construction timing, contractor and permit timing were not specified during the meeting.
Commissioners had no substantive conditions attached at the time of approval. Engineering comments were noted as resolved during the staff review, and the applicant will proceed to final permitting steps.
