The Carroll County Board of Supervisors voted unanimously Sept. 21 to approve the fiscal year 2025 urban renewal annual report for the Iowa Corn Processors Urban Renewal area.
Courtney, identified in the meeting as county staff, told the board the report shows zeros for the reporting year because the urban renewal area is inactive, but she said Iowa rules require the county to file the annual report. Courtney said the urban renewal plan is a 20-year program and that the board still has “a few years on it,” but she did not specify the ordinance or exact start year during the meeting.
A supervisor moved to approve the report and a second was recorded; the chair called for the vote and members responded “aye.” No dissenting votes were recorded.
The board did not discuss new projects or appropriations tied to the urban renewal area at the Sept. 21 meeting.
