The executive director said staff took part in the Palm Beach County Department Fair at the Palm Beach Gardens Library, a luncheon with the Rotary Club of Delray Beach and a Junior Achievement event at Lake Worth Community High School. The executive director and Commissioner Cruz also gave an overview presentation on the COE (Commission on Ethics) during Leadership Palm Beach County’s Civics and Governments Day for the Class of 2026.
The update named Miss Geiger as the staff member who led the trainings. “Miss Geiger has provided 35 ethics trainings to employees and officials across Palm Beach County,” the executive director said, with a breakdown the director provided: 21 trainings in the city of Palm Beach Gardens, 10 in Lake Worth Beach, three in Greenacres and one with the Delray Beach Downtown Development Authority, a special district that voluntarily came under the commission’s jurisdiction.
The executive director added, “I appreciate Rhonda for doing all of that hard work with those, in person trainings, and we're getting a lot of great feedback from them. So I appreciate that.”
The director also reminded the commission that the November meeting will be followed by the Inspector General meeting next month, which will begin at 2 p.m. The meeting concluded with no public comments and an adjournment.
