Summary
Trustees approved a piggyback contract for food services, authorized a PDQ device-management license purchase, ratified a payroll/position-control assessment contract, approved a clinical supervision agreement update, and in closed session approved the expulsion of one student.
At a regular meeting, the Palmdale Aerospace Academy District Board of Trustees approved several procurement and personnel actions, and in closed session approved the expulsion of one student.
Trustees voted to approve Resolution 2025-26 to allow piggyback purchasing for district food services from Sysco under the Public Contract Code piggyback authority. The district said the piggyback will allow food orders for the winter meal service schedule and other normal food-service needs.
The board also approved the purchase of a PDQ software license to support remote updates and security patches for district instructional devices. A district presenter described the PDQ product as a tool to push updates remotely, saving staff time and improving device security.
