Committee approves 2026–2028 master contract eligible‑provider list for workforce programs totaling roughly $47–48 million

The Administration and Enterprise Oversight Committee on Oct. 14 approved a master contract eligible‑provider list that sets potential maximum contract amounts for community‑based organizations that provide workforce development services in Minneapolis from 2026 through 2028.

CPED workforce development manager Mark Brenda told the committee the eligible‑provider list contains roughly 41 organizations and sets staff‑derived maximums that together total about $47 million to $48 million. Brenda said those maximums are loaded into the city’s financial system to avoid having to return to Council each time an organization reaches an administrative cap; the amounts are not guaranteed awards and actual spending is typically a fraction of the listed maximums.
