City attorneys and business‑licensing staff summarized the hearing officer’s report, which found that the firm repeatedly failed to correct violations at multiple properties despite written orders and fines, did not communicate with city staff or attend required meetings, and in some cases relied on an unlicensed contractor to do work. The hearing officer concluded those cumulative failures, and the firm’s lack of good‑faith corrective steps, supported revocation in the public interest.
No representative for PMR Mechanical appeared at the committee hearing. Staff recommended adoption of the hearing officer’s recommendation; the committee voted in favor and the revocation was upheld.
Ending: City staff said license‑revocation measures are reserved for cases where repeated violations and a history of noncompliance threaten public safety and code enforcement. The committee’s vote removes city licensing for the named contractor pending any administrative appeals.
