Board approves personnel items, appoints ASB assembly alternate and notes bus-driver termination

The Trussville City Schools Board approved a personnel report that included resignations, a nonrenewal, transfers, leave requests, schedule changes, extra-service agreements and recommended hires.

Superintendent Doctor Martin summarized the personnel report: "Our personnel report this evening consists of, 3 recommendations for resignation. We have recommendations for 1 non renewal, transfer reassignment, recommendations for leave of absence..." During personnel discussion the superintendent also reported an operational incident involving a new bus driver who could not exit a bus because a seat belt was stuck, and later said he would recommend the termination of one bus driver.
