Councilman Burns moved the amendment to keep the eastbound limit at 45 mph until drivers pass the water tank and then change the posted limit to 30 mph at Tally Cemetery; Councilwoman Thomas seconded the motion. The amendment also directed staff to install a “reduced speed ahead” sign near the Ridge Top Apartments.
