The borough plans to bill the three retail tenants for their share of the trash and recycling costs and staff told the committee they will notify tenants before the end of the year. Staff also recommended quarterly power-washings of the service alley and closer vendor oversight after tenants raised concerns about debris and grease in the dumpster area.
Ending: The committee asked staff to send the contract to a work session, finalize billing procedures for the three tenants and coordinate public-works cleaning and vendor service standards going forward.
