The board gave permission to pursue Community Crossings Matching Grant (CCMG) applications for Bridge 142 (Carys County Road 300 West over the Wabash River) and a hot-mix asphalt (HMA) structural overlay on several county roads. County staff estimated the Bridge 142 project at about $645,001 with a local match of roughly 20 percent (approximately $129,025). The HMA overlay project was estimated near $935,000 with a local match estimated at about $451,594; commissioners were told state changes have capped some program amounts and may affect county eligibility.
