At its Oct. 13 meeting the Clover Park School District Board of Directors approved consent agenda items numbered 26-016 through 26-024 and adopted Policy 6217, Electronic Funds Transfers.
Director Thomas moved to approve items 26-016 through 26-024 on the consent agenda; Director Lowry seconded the motion and the board chair said the motion passed unanimously.
The board then considered individual action item 26-025, the adoption of Policy 6217. Director Lowry moved the motion; Director Caldwell seconded. Superintendent Banner explained the policy had been presented via the first-reading process and discussed at the Sept. 22 board workshop. Banner said the policy is necessary because the district business office uses electronic funds transfers in its transactions and recommended approval. The motion passed unanimously.
No roll-call vote tallies were read into the record; the board chair called for verbal "aye" or "nay" responses and announced unanimous passage for both motions. There were no amendments made to Policy 6217 at the Oct. 13 meeting.
