Lift station study underway; survey and data loggers in place

The Parks and Public Works Committee received an update Oct. 7 on the Snoqualmie Valley Health lift station project. Project engineer Patrick Fry said design work is continuing after a consultant contract was executed and survey work completed.
"We contracted with the consultant, we got the money, the agenda bill was approved, and so we're able to get the contract with RH2 signed and working," Fry said. He told the committee survey work is complete and that data loggers have been installed; Fry said the loggers had been collecting data for one week and were intended to remain in place for two weeks.
Fry said the consultant is working with the survey data and that staff will wait for the monitoring results before progressing further with design or construction decisions. No schedule changes or budget revisions were reported at the committee meeting.
Council members indicated the project appears to be moving forward as expected and asked staff to continue to proceed at the pace dictated by incoming data.
