Miss Harvey, a school board member, told the Marple Newtown School Board’s budget and finance committee on Oct. 14 that the committee’s agenda for the month was light and routine. "These are normal general fund and cap reserve fund bills for payment," she said, and added a full list would be available for approval at the board meeting in two weeks.
The committee also reviewed its regular monthly financial reports. "If anyone wants to review those, please reach out for any questions you may have," Miss Harvey said. She said the district expects a draft of the audited financial statements from the previous fiscal year to be available for the November board meeting, adding: "The audit has progressed very well, so we'll look forward to bringing that to the board in November."
No formal votes or final approvals were recorded for the committee during the Oct. 14 discussion. The items discussed — routine bills, monthly financial reports and the anticipated audit draft — are scheduled for the full board meeting and follow normal review and approval processes.
