The Rutherford County Regional Planning Commission on Oct. 13 approved a rezoning request that will allow a fence contractor to operate from a 2.7-acre parcel at 3698 Shelbyville Heights, near Shelbyville Pike.
Staff said the parcel, currently zoned residential medium density (RM), is within the county's suburban character area and adjacent to several nonresidential properties along Shelbyville Pike, a state arterial.
