Planning staff and commissioners confirmed that the operation will require a home-occupation business license and that the fire and building departments will perform inspections to ensure safe ingress and egress and compliance with applicable code provisions.
Board action: Commissioner Deb Terrell moved to recommend approval of the conditional-use permit, attaching the staff findings. Barry McCracken seconded. Roll call recorded affirmative votes and the recommendation will proceed to City Council on Nov. 3.
Next steps: The applicant must obtain the city-issued home occupation/business license and satisfy any building- or fire-department conditions before commencing operation.
