Millard County adopts grant policy after auditor recommendation to increase transparency

Commission discussion focused on balancing departmental authority to seek grants with new oversight responsibilities. A commissioner praised the auditor's work, saying the policy "clarifies it" and puts grant obligations on the commission's radar so future multi-year commitments are visible to the governing body.
The commission voted to adopt the resolution establishing the grant policy.
